Beginner

Option A: Start in a Beginner's Group Class

Our Beginner Foundations Program meets 3 days a week for 4 weeks.  It is designed for the currently injury free individual who wants ultimately to train in one of our ongoing group classes.  In this class we will expose newbies to our movement curriculum in a group format.  Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.  If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting, please contact us. Foundations Group Training - $200
 

Next Group Start Dates and Time

The next groups will start the week of June 26, 2017.

Group 1: 7am Mon/ Wed/ Fri

Group 2: 10am Tues/ Thurs & 11am Fri ( Group 2 Includes Complimentary Child Minding)

Group 3: 6.30pm Mon/ Wed/ Thurs

Option B: Start with Personal Training

Many clients begin with personal training for a series of 12 sessions.  This is where you will work with your trainer to build your general fitness base and gain familiarity with our movements.  Personal training may be the right place to start if your needs or goals include:

  • extra accountability
  • you have generally been sedentary and/or you are completely new to exercise
  • you are referred to us by a physician, physical therapist or chiropractor
  • you have specific performance oriented goals (triathlon, basketball, etc.)
  • you have significant health or orthopedic issues

Your trainer will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you.  Following your initial 12 sessions you may then choose to continue with private training or progress into our main group CrossFit classes.

Experienced

If you already have a background in CrossFit, have played at university/college level sports team or have a background with power and olympic lifting then we invite you to come in for a free one-on-one Orientation Session.  This session is designed to take you through most of the basic barbell and olympic movements (back squat, front,squat, cleans, snatches, etc) and body weight movements (push ups, pull ups, etc).  We are not concerned with the amount of weight you can lift, but rather that you have good technique and that you know how to modify a movement for your ability.  This also gives us the opportunity to orientate you to our movement standards, philosophies of movement and alternative modifications for movements.

If you are an experienced athlete or visiting CrossFitter please email us to save you a spot in class! If you purchase a T-Shirt or $25 or more in apparel, your drop in fee is included in the price of that item.
