Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What kind of workout can I expect?

A: Our classes are carefully designed to keep you safe and healthy. Each day we complete what is a called a WOD — a workout of the day.  On some days the WOD may be a strength session only, a strength and a metabolic condition (AKA Cardio) or just a metabolic conditioning session.  The programming may seem random but we assure you it is not.  Classes are always 60min and you are taken through a structured group warm up, mobility, and then the WOD.

Q: I’m really out of shape. Can I do this?

A: Absolutely! Beginners are placed in our Foundations class. We’ll cover the basic movements and slowly introduce you to high intensity. Safety is our priority. Once you’re ready for the regular classes, they’re scalable, so you’re able to work at your own speed.

Q: I’ve heard of people hurting themselves in Crossfit, or working so hard they get sick. Is that going to happen to me?

A: We’re here to make you feel better, not worse! Our classes are designed specifically to ensure that you’re safe and having fun. Our coaches value your safety before anything else, and will not push you beyond what you feel you’re capable of completing safely.  If we see you pushing too hard our coaches will ask you to stop or slow down.

Q: What do I need to wear and bring?

A: Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers. Bring a water bottle and an open mind!
